HICKMAN COUNTY ELEMENTARY NEW STUDENT ASSIGNMENTS AVAILABLE TODAY AND TOMORROW

April 13, 2020

According to Hickman County Elementary School Principal Richard Todd, HCES will be giving out new student assignments April 13-14, with students' teachers to be contacting parents with more information.

Work will be ready for all grade levels, and just as the drop off for completed assignments, the work pick up point will be staffed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the HCES concession stand next to the gym in Clinton. Pickup for meals will also commence.

Todd reminds parents it is important to get assignments completed and returned, as grades will be taken on all NTI assignments. Todd said he has instructed teachers to put zeros in for work not received and to grade incomplete assignments accordingly. Students will receive mid-term reports April 24, with another drop off scheduled that day to return work, when mid-term reports will be provided.

Todd reports that officially, school will not be in session with students before May 4.

"Parents, if you need other arrangements for your child's assignments, please communicate with his or her teachers. We do our best to accommodate your needs and situations," Todd said.
