KY 309 to close at 2mm in Fulton County for base repair, drainage work April 16

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 309 in southern Fulton County for an additional round of base repair work on Thursday, April 16.
KY 309 will be closed near the 2-mile marker to allow additional roadway base repairs and extensive drainage work. This closure is along KY 309 between KY 925 and Rodney Jones Road.
This closure is approximately two miles north of the Kentucky-Tennessee State Line and just south of the Brownsville community. KY 309 connects with Mt. Olive Road in Tennessee.
Due to the placement of equipment to facilitate the work the roadway will have to be closed to all traffic starting around 7 a.m., CDT, Thursday. KY 339 is expected to reopen to traffic around 5 p.m., Thursday.
The Fulton County Highway Maintenance Crew has been working along this section of KY 309 over the last couple of weeks.
