HICKMAN, FULTON COMMISSIONS MEET TONIGHT HICKMAN, FULTON COMMISSIONS MEET TONIGHT

Hickman City Commission will meet May 11, at 5 p.m., in regular session at Hickman City Hall. The Current will be in attendance for the meeting, and will publish a complete report in the May 13 print edition. The meeting may be accessed on facebook, through the facebook page for Hickman City and Fulton County, Ky. THE FULTON CITY COMMISSION WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING AT 5:30 P.M. IN REGARD TO MUNICIPAL AID ROAD FUNDS WITH SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO BE TAKEN FROM THE PUBLIC AS TO USE OF THE FUNDS TO REPAVE CITY STREETS.

The public hearing meeting will be held at Pontotoc Community Center, downtown Fulton, and open for public access.

The hearing and the commission meeting to follow may also be accessed through teleconference via ZOOM, with the downloading of the ZOOM by visiting https://us02web.zoom.us/j, through an electronic device such as a smart phone, computer or tablet. Consider Order 2019-146, to approve minutes from the regular meeting April 27; voucher review; remarks from public, with no action to be taken on items not listed on the agenda: reading of Proclamation Declaring the Month of May as Building Safety Month; reading of Proclamation of thanks to citizens who volunteered time to manufacture face masks for the city and county frontline workers; consider municipal order 2019-147, approval of The Downtown Farmers Market area rules and regulations; consider Municipal Order 2019-148 to re-appoint Mallory Worley-Graves to the Fulton Housing Board; Consider Municipal Order 2019-149 to authorize the Mayor to sign a deed accepting the property at 306 and 308 Walnut from Mike Homra; Consider Municipal Order to adjourn into Executive Session to discuss proposed and pending litigation in compliance with KRS 61.810.
