Burton School Supply Give-Away set for Saturday in Fulton Park

The Alice Burton memorial School Supply Give-Away, for the fourth consecutive year, will be held once again at Fulton’s City Park, 304 Browder St., Aug. 11 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Fulton native Tony Burton and his family, as well as local individuals and businesses who contribute to the event, will provide backpacks full of school supplies, games, music, free t-shirts and lunch to all grade school age children who attend.

Burton chose to honor the memory of his mother, Alice Burton, by making sure all grade school aged children in the area begin the school year with confidence, making sure they have all the necessary and required supplies.
