PRAIRIE FARMS “FARMERS TO FAMILIES” FOOD BOXES DISTRIBUTED

A refrigerated trailer, courtesy of a Prairie Farms grant was filled with 1,000 boxes of pre-packed 2% milk, flavored milk, French onion dip, sour cream, cream cheese and cottage cheese, situated on the back lot of Brooks Chapel Ministries on Forestdale in South Fulton Tuesday morning. According to Pastor Jessie Webb, the grant provides the dairy products to a number of area communities. Area churches volunteered to help distribute the products including Brooks Chapel, Mt. Carmel in Fulton County, Greater Deliverance, Walnut Grove and Mt. Olive in South Fulton. The boxes are available to anyone who arrives at the site, with plans to distribute them monthly in the future. (Photo by Benita Fuzzell.)
