SCAM REPORTED, THROUGH USE OF SOUTH FULTON CITY HALL PHONE NUMBER

According to South Fulton City Manager Johnny Bacon, South Fulton City Hall's telephone number and line has recently been used as part of a scam. Bacon said area residents may be called, and prompted to return a call or provide information regarding the use of credit cards, with one of the phone lines at South Fulton City Hall having received calls relating to this scam call. Bacon said area residents should be reminded the South Fulton City Hall staff and personnel at the South Fulton Municipal Complex will not contact anyone by telephone, related to credit cards, or ask for the provision of personal information.
