Alice Stevenson, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and formerly of this area passed away Wed., Sept. 23, 2020 at Life Care Center of Red Bank in Chattanooga. She was 94.

She was born on Nov. 16, 1925 in Fulton, and had made her home in Chattanooga, since the 1950’s. She was a long time member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga.

She was employed for many years as a radiologic technologist at ErlangerHospital and Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute.

She was active in city, state and national radiologic societies and a recipient of the Tennessee Radiologic Technologist Life Membership as well as the LaVerne T. Gurley award recognizing outstanding technologists in Tennessee.

She was active in Democratic politics and a member of the Democratic Party.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward White Stevenson, mother, Beulah James Stevenson and brothers, James Edward and Charles Edwin Stevenson.

Survivors include a number of cousins.

Graveside services will be conducted at the Fairview Cemetery in Fulton, Ky. at 11 a.m., Sat., Oct. 3, with Dr. Courtney Krueger officiating.
