Novella Barron, a resident of Fulton, died Oct. 17 at the Diversicare of Martin. She was 99.

Funeral services were held Oct. 19 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, in Fulton. Burial followed at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy (Larry) Baker, of Newbern, Tenn., and Shelia (David) McKinney of Fairview, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Kimberly Bradley, of Memphis, Tenn., Jennifer Gilliam, of Lebanon, Tenn., Brian Betts, of Atlanta, Ga., and Brad McKinney and Scott McKinney, both of Fairview; seven great-grandchildren, Blake McKinney, Ashleigh McKinney, Tyler McKinney, Elise McKinney, Camille McKinney, all of Fairview, Caleb Bradley, of Bartlett, Tenn., and Garian Dobson, of Lebanon; one great-great-grandchild, Emmett Bradley of Bartlett; and a sister-in-law, Marie Glover of South Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Glover and Haley Dickerson Glover; her husband, Phillip Barron, who died Sept. 25, 1991; one sister, Ruth Glover; and three brothers, Amos Glover, Rupert Glover and Robert Glover.

Born June 10, 1921 in Weakley County, Tenn, she was a member First Church of the Nazarene in Fulton, and had been a seamstress at the former Henry I. Siegel Clothing Company in Fulton.

She had lived in this area all of her life.
