John David Ferguson, a resident of South Fulton, died Nov. 29, at Baptist Health of Paducah. He was 57.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 2, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, in Fulton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. A face mask is requested to be worn to the visitation and service.

Hornbeak Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by a sister, Fran (Johnny) Stanfield, of Collierville, Tenn.; and three brothers, Charles Lee Ferguson, Jr., of Everett, Wash., Thomas Harold Ferguson, of Vicksburg, Miss., and Samuel Dantzier Ferguson, of Troy, Tenn.

Born April 10, 1963 in Jacksonville, Fla., to the late Charles Lee and Catheron Claire Dantzier Ferguson, he was a United States Navy veteran, later joining the Tennessee National Guard, where he served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He was a life member of the VFW and lived most of his life in this area.
