AREA OBITUARIES -- STEVE COOK

Steve Cook, a resident of Dukedom, Tenn., died Dec. 5, at his residence. He was 60.
Graveside services were held Dec. 8, at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Dukedom.
He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Mumford Cook, of Fulton; his wife, Joyce Childrey Cook, of Dukedom, whom he married Feb. 14, 2010; his children, Stephen (Maggie Lewis) Cook, of Gleason, Tenn., Jessica (Tony Patrick) Cook, of Martin, Tenn., and Chad Reynolds, of Greenfield, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Brennan, Addison, Corbin and Waylon Cook, and RiLynne and Delaney Shawn, all of Gleason, Emilia Patrick, of Martin, and Reagan and Tyler Reynolds, both of Greenfield; three brothers, Bruce Cook of Troy, Tenn., Johnny Cook of Cayce, and Darryl Cook, of Dukedom; and a sister, Becky Cook of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Thomas Cook; a daughter, Sadie Cook; two sisters, Janice Cook and Shelia Stutts; and a brother, Jack Cook.
Born Oct. 14, 1960 in Tiptonville, Tenn., he was of the Baptist faith, was a forklift operator for the former World Color in Dresden, Tenn., where he worked for the majority of his working life.
He lived all of his life in this area.
