AREA OBITUARIES -- CHARLOTTE GARRIGAN

Charlotte Garrigan, a resident of Hickman, died Dec. 5 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Union City. She was 81.
Private Funeral services will be held Dec. 9 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Carl Gregorich officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. June 9. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rob Garrigan, Justin Ray, Josh Garrigan, Justin Lannom, Glen Pavey, and Van Ray.
White-Ranson Funeral Home, of Union City, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Garrigan, who she married on July 18, 1964; a daughter and son-in-law, Nell (Van) Ray, of Union City; son and daughter-in-law, Rob (Melissa) Garrigan of Hickman; three grandchildren, Justin Ray of Atlanta, Anna Reid Garrigan of Hickman, and Josh Garrigan of Hickman; her twin brother, Charles Mangold of Cordova, Tenn.; her sister-in-law, Emma Jo Mangold of Somerset; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nell (Wedding) Mangold; three sisters; and two brothers.
Born Jan. 30, 1939 in Mayfield, she worked as a bookkeeper for Ferry Morris Seeds, and the former Sears Company in Union City.
She was a very active member.of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Union City.
