SFHS Red Devils, Lady Devils win vs. Obion Co.
The South Fulton Red Devils and Lady Red Devils both tacked a win on their record on Dec. 1, against Obion Central. South Fulton High School’s basketball teams were scheduled to travel to Trenton Dec. 3 and to Greenfield Dec. 8, however, both teams had to cancel the games due to COVID-19`.
The Lady Red Devils pulled out a one point win, putting up 41 points on the Lady Rebels.
The Red Devils trailed the entire first half, but finished the game four points ahead in a 66-62 final score.

Obion County Central 40
The Lady Red Devils trailed by two points, 5-7, after a quarter on action but cut the lead down to one during the second quarter finishing the half with a score of 13-14.
The Lady Red Devils took the lead in the second half scoring 19 points in the third quarter making the score 32-26 and finished the game on top with 41 points to the 40 Lady Rebel points.
Anna Gore started the game scoring the first four points of the game, hitting two field goals.
Abbi McFarland had three of her 15 points in the first half hitting a free throw in the first quarter and a field goal in the second quarter.
Aubree Gore scored all five of her points in the third quarter after hitting a three-point basket and a field goal.
Kailey mayo contributed three points during the fourth quarter.
Anna Gore and Abbi McFarland both scored the game high of 15 points. Followed by Aubree Gore with five points and Kailey Mayo and Sophia Hodges with three points each.

Obion County Central 62
The Red Devils hosted the Obion County Central Rebels in the Devils Den where they then tacked a win onto their record with a nail biter game.
The Red Devils trailed the entire first half 9-17 after a quarter and cut the Rebels lead to three points after an entire half of action 30-27.
The Red Devils jumped ahead in the third quarter scoring 20 points putting them ahead 47-42.
The Red Devils didn’t slow down scoring an additional 19 points making the final score 66-62.
Brock Brown scored five of his game high 24 points in the first quarter after having two field goals and a free throw.
Beau Britt hit two three point baskets and a field goal for eight of his 17 points in the second half.
Brown added 10 of the 20 points in the third quarter hitting three shots behind the arc and a free throw, while Britt added three field goals for six more points.
Bryce McFarland had six points in the fourth quarter.
Brown lead the Red Devils with 24 points.
Britt wasn’t far behind him with 17 points and McFarland with 14 points.
Rider Whitehead contributed six points, Conner Allen had three points, and Eli Carlisle had two points.
