Richard Lee “Richy” Horton, a resident of South Fulton, died Dec. 9 in Flagstaff, Ariz. He was 60.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service. No visitation will be held. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, of Fulton, is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by a daughter, Bri Anne Cunningham, of Lansing, Mich.; a granddaughter, Abigail Cunningham, of Lansing; a brother, Johny Horton, of South Fulton; three sisters, Mary Sue Duncan, of Covington, Tenn., and Karen Copeland and Sandra King, both of South Fulton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donnie and Lisaelotte Bach Horton; and a brother, Sammy Horton.

Born Aug.11, 1960 in Fort Hood, Texas, he had been a truck driver for over 30 years and was presently a truck driver for French Trucking Company, in Lexington, Tenn., and was a member of the CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association).

He was also a member of the 913th Engineering Company in Union City, Tenn.
