Meeting

The Obion County Budget Committee will meet Jan. 4 at 9 a.m. in the meeting room of the Obion County Mayor’s Office, in Union City, Tenn. The meeting is open to the public.

Foodbank Dates

The Ken-Tenn Foodbank, 212 Carr St., Fulton, will distribute commodities to South Fulton, Tenn. qualifying residents of the 1 for 84 program will be Jan. 2 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Distribution to Fulton County Seniors, CSFP, living in poverty, will be held Jan. 15 from 9-11 a.m. Distribution to Fulton County households living in poverty, TEFAP, will be Jan. 22 from 9 – 11 a.m. Poverty, on a temporary basis, has now been defined as a maximum allowable income per month for individuals, at $1,968 per month, to receive commodities from the Ken-Tenn Foodbank.

New Year’s Eve Service

A special New Year’s Eve service will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 31 at South Fulton Liberty Worship Center Church of God of Prophecy 120 Forestdale. The public is invited to attend.

Courthouse Closure

The Obion County will be closed Jan. 1 in observance of New Year’s Day. Regular hours will resume Jan. 4.

FUMC Celebrate Recovery

The First United Methodist Church, 200 Carr St., Fulton, hosts Celebrate Recovery each Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is served, worship and small groups are available for those who attend and child care is provided. For more information, call 270-472-3514.

Parkway Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is held every Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at Parkway Church of Christ, at 1301 Middle Rd., in Fulton; and every Monday from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Clinton.

AA Meetings

Alcoholics Anonymous meets at the First United Methodist Church in Clinton each Monday at 8 p.m.
