Area schools’ FCA Kick-Off features NFL’s Bartholemew

The Four Rivers Foundation will sponsor a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Fall Kick-Off Sept. 5 with a visit by former National Football League New England Patriot, and standout University of Tennessee Volunteer Ben Bartholemew to five area schools.

Bartholemew was president of his high school’s FCA chapter and he plans to speak to students at Fulton Independent Sept. 5 at 8:15 a.m., Fulton County at 9:15 a.m., Hickman County at 10:15 a.m., Carlisle County at 11:15 a.m. and Ballard County at 1:30 p.m. that day.

Bartholemew is the Regional Vice President of Business Development at a healthcare technology company, Instamed, and went to high school in Nashville, Tenn. at Montgomery Bell Academy. He went on to play football at UT Knoxville, where he was named a captain in 2012. He then continued his football career playing for the Patriots, along with Tom Brady, under the direction of Coach Bill Belichick. He now serves as a volunteer for the Greater Nashville FCA.
