FHS Bulldogs lose to Lake Co., St. Mary’s

In the home court contest Monday night, Fulton High School’s Bulldogs, as a team, recorded points for the stat book from 75% of the roster.

Visiting St. Mary’s High School had 85% of their team connect on a basket or more, that night.

The difference came down to the size of the rosters.

The Bulldogs six of eight total team members scored points in the 75-21 loss, but then, St. Mary’s team saw points recorded from 12 of their 14 team members.

Fulton’s Amire Hobbs had a team high 10 points, connecting on three of nine attempts from three-point range. He also hit one of two free throws and pulled down 14 boards. Defensively, he marked down two steals.

Jordan Lannom had 4 points for the Bulldogs, and added a steal on the night’s game, with Dylan Jackson, Daveon Cheirs, and Rajon Hollowell adding two points a piece and Kabrian Burton, one point. Jackson had eight rebounds.

The Bulldogs traveled to Lake County Jan. 16, with the Falcons taking the win, 70-40.

Hobbs took high point honors for the team against Lake County with 15, followed by Lannom with 11 and Jackson, 10.
