THIRD GRADE ENGINEERS – Third grade students in Mrs. Goddard’s class at Carr Elementary in Fulton have recently learned about the engineering process in science. The first step in the process is to ask a question. Our question was, “How can I walk on air?” Students only had three materials: balloons, cardboard and tape. Students had to work collaboratively to make a plan and create their prototypes. They will write about the process including whether or not their ideas worked, how they can make it better and whether they solved the problem. Pictured left to right are Tyler Rogers, Kaybrun Burton, Jamarion Jackson, and Haillo Gray.
