South Fulton educators earn ‘Teacher of the Year’ status

Director of Schools Tim Watkins has announced the recipients of District Level Teacher of the Year in each of the schools within the Obion County Schools system.

At South Fulton Elementary School, Robin Long was named Teacher of the Year, grades PreK-4, and Melashia Holt was named Teacher of the Year for grades 5-8.

South Fulton Middle School's Kevin Seymour was named SFMS Teacher of the Year for grades 5-8 and Jeremy McFarland was named South Fulton High School's Teacher of the Year for grades 9-12.

District Level Teachers of the Year awards went to Tori Jones of Hillcrest, grades PreK-4; Leanne Parnell of Black Oak, grades 5-8; and Michelle Bruner of Obion County Central High School, grades 9-12.

School Level Teachers of the Year at Black Oak Elementary are Linda Darnell, PreK-4th and Leanne Parnell, grades 5-8.

At Hillcrest Elementary, Tori Jones was named school Teacher of the Year for PreK-4 and Shiloh Leake, grades 5-8.

Lake Road Elementary named Hope Ross grades PreK-4 Teacher of the Year, and grades 5-8 Teacher of the Year, Jennifer Robertson.

Obion County Central High School Teacher of the year for grades 9-12 was Michelle Bruner.

Ridgemont Elementary Teacher of the Year for PreK-4 was Ashley Brundige and grades 5-8, Regena Lindsey.
