FCHS student, FFA member to represent Chapter at State

Fulton County High School student Taylor Gunn competed in the Prepared Public Speaking Leadership Development Event (LDE) on March 31. She placed 2nd in the Region and will be representing the Fulton County FFA Chapter at State Convention this summer.

During the Prepared Public Speaking LDE, students write and deliver a six to eight-minute speech about a current agriculture-related topic.

Students research a topic of interest and then put together a creative, informative speech. Then the speech is presented to a panel of judges, who score the student, based on the speech’s content, composition, and delivery.
