Concert Sat. begins series for summer

Soul Dog, a group specializing in classic soul, featuring covers for the Temptations, Al Green, Sam & Dave, James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire and Wilson Pickett, will bring their talents to the Pontotoc Park stage this Saturday, May 1, the first in a Summer Concert Series of free performances, sponsored by the Fulton Tourism Commission.

Soul Dog will perform from 7-9 p.m., and those planning to attend are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show.

A number of food trucks and vendors will be on site for food, beverages, arts and crafts purchases.
