SOUTH FULTON MS/HS STUDENTS WIN, PLACE IN DPA CARDBOARD REGATA

DISCOVERY PARK OF AMERICA'S CARDBOARD REGATTA WINNERS INCLUDE SFMS/HS REPRESENTATION -- On Saturday, Discovery Park of America, in partnership with Vincent outfitters, once again sponsored the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta, with two teams placing, represented by South Fulton MIddle/High School students. First Place Winner in the Student Educational Division was won by the South Fulton STEM team and Second Place in the Student Division was won by South Fulton Middle School ESP team. Students constructed and manned a water craft constructed out of cardboard, and launched into the pond on the grounds of Discovery Park, to test their durability and floatation. Stewart Conner and Harley Nagel represented the South Fulton Middle School ESP team and representing the South Fulton STEM team, was Daniel Pitts and Brianna Covington. (Photo submitted.)
