FULTON'S NORTH COLLEGE STREET SHOOTING UNDER INVESTIGATION

The Fulton Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation following a shooting which occurred on North College Street on May 15.
According to the FPD press release, at approximately 4 a.m. on Saturday, the Fulton Police Department received a report from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tenn., regarding a female who had been brought to their Emergency Room with two gunshot wounds.
During the investigation, through witness interviews and video evidence at the scene it was determined that a physical altercation had occurred between two female subjects in the 700 block of North College St. in Fulton.
After the fight had ended and as one party drove away, a 17-year-old male juvenile fired approximately 12 rounds from a .223 rifle striking the vehicle several times as it drove away, and hitting a backseat passenger, identified as 22-year-old Shycuria Harris of Paducah, twice, critically injuring her.
The vehicle was also occupied by five other people including an 18-month-old child.
Harris was flown to a hospital in Memphis, Tenn. for treatment of her injuries.
The investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
