July 3, July 4 events on tap in Fulton
With Covid-19 related restrictions resulting in the cancellation of the City of Fulton’s Tourism Commission’s annual Fourth of July fireworks display in 2020, this year’s Independence Day celebration will expand throughout the weekend, July 3-4, in Fulton.
Beginning on July 3, at 6 p.m., the Fulton Tourism Commission will sponsor their third in a series of four free concerts on downtown Fulton’s Pontotoc Park stage.
“Creative Jazz” with Tim Stanek will perform beginning at 6 p.m., followed by Larry Morgan, who will provide music for the Senior Sock Hop at 7 p.m. showcasing tunes from the 50s and 60s.
Food trucks and vendors will be set up along adjacent Vendor Row, and those planning to attend should bring chairs or blankets to enjoy the entertainment.
On July 4, the Fulton Tourism Commission will provide complimentary free tickets to the Fulton Railroaders’ 6 p.m. home game at Lohaus Field, “The Yard”, to the first 300 spectators. The Railroaders will host Muhlenberg County.
Following the game, the giant fireworks display will be launched from Fulton’s Lions Club City Park.
