Masks still required on FCTA vehicles

Although the statewide mask mandated was lifted for the Commonwealth of Kentucky on Fri., June 11, the discontinuation of requiring face masks does not apply to riders on Fulton County Transit Authority vehicles.

Because FCTA is federally funded, the face mask mandate remains in place for all modes of public transportation, a directive from the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) which states that the proper wearing of face masks is federal law.
