New festival event ‘Peace, Love & Foliage’

PEACE, LOVE & FOLIAGE NEW FESTIVAL EVENT MONDAY PEACE, LOVE & FOLIAGE NEW FESTIVAL EVENT MONDAY

An evening filled with fun, flowers and delicious farm-to-table food awaits ladies who want to start the 2021 Banana Festival week off with an all-new event, “Peace, Love & Foliage”, set for Monday evening, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. at Fulton’s Pontotoc Park, 100 West State Line.

Chaired by Melissa Brown, Peace, Love & Foliage will feature horticulturist, plant purveyor and self-proclaimed “ole” hippie, Rita Randolph, who will not only provide floral arranging tips, but will also guide participants to create a “Joy Jar”, using flowers provided by Stephen’s Flower Truck, under Randolph’s direction.

A Farm-To-Table Feast will be provided by The Bluebird Bistro and Catering.

A limited number of tickets will be available, at $30 each, and will be on sale soon.
