BANANA FESTIVAL 5K RESULTS

Ellie Poole and Nick Skarsten recorded the Overall Best Time for Female and Male divisions, in Saturday's Banana Festival 5K, chaired by Rebecca Holtzclaw.

Skarsten also clocked the winning time for the Male, age 19 and under category of runners.

Royce Oliver and Susan Engle were winners in the male and female, age 60 and up category, respectively, and Chris Poole and Wendi Maxey captured the male and female age 50-59 division.

In the age 40-49 category of runners, Joey Cary won the male division, and Nancy Poole, the female division.

In the age 30-39 division, there were no male runners registered, with Katie Heisel winning first in the female division and Monica Pirtle placing second in that division.

Seth Tibbs won the age 20-29 male division, with Carmen Barnes winning the female, ages 20-29 division.

Honorable Mention status was noted by Holtzclaw, to a group of Dresden, Tenn. runners, ages 10-15, including Harley Taylor, Irah Cianfarani, Nolie Gallimore, McKayden McClure, Brice Rotheer and Jillen Gallimore.
