Banana Festival Grand Parade prizes awarded

The Meadows Hotel captured the Overall Winner’s award for Saturday’s Banana Festival Lions Club Grand Parade.

In the School Spirit category, Fulton Independent Schools won first place, South Fulton fifth grade won second and third place went to South Fulton kindergarten-first grade.

Brooks Chapel took first place in the Church Float division, with Pleasantview Baptist Church in second place and Christ United in third.

In the Mini Float division, “Red Carpet Cousins” won first, West Tennessee Healthcare-Hillview South won second and Doug Akers’ float won third.

In the Large Float category, South Fulton High School CTE Programs placed first, Park Terrace Village came in second and “Friends Pulling Together” won third place.

The Fulton Lions Club coordinated the Grand Parade.
