Photo Contest winners awarded

The final results of the 2018 Banana Festival Photography Contest have been announced by chairpersons Cory and Lori Edmison.

Katie Dodd received the People’s Choice award, on an entry she submitted in the People category, for which she also won first place.

Deborah Liliker was the winner of the Banana Festival Committee Choice, for her first place winning entry in the Digital Darkroom category.

In the Nature and landscapes category, Dennis Pitman won first place, Evelyn Ward, second and Bailie Lester, third.

Ashley Morris won first in the Animals category, with Melissa Johnson winning second and Becky Lovell, third.

Dodd won first in the People category, with Lester winning second and Ali Berry, third.

In the Elements of Design category, Lester won first, Liliker, second and Lovell, third.

For Digital Darkroom, Liliker was first, Lester, second and Dodd, third.

Baiie Lester earned first place in the Clickety Clack, Trains and Tracks category, with Dodd in second and Lester in third.

For the Sports category, Liliker won first.

In the Bananas category, Evelyn Ward won first, Liliker, second and Ward third.

Katie Dodd captured first place in the Flowers category, with Lester placing second and Liliker, third.

In the Youth division, Drew Liliker won first and second in the nature and landscapes category.

Piper Lusk won first in the Animals category, with Drew Liliker winning second and third.

Drew Liliker also won first and second in the youth division’s people category, also capturing Best of Show.

Drew Liliker won first and second in Elements of Design, first and third in the Clickety Clack, Trains and Tracks, with Chloe Liliker winning second in that category.

Alyssa Liliker won first in the Bananas category, with Chloe Liliker winning first in Flowers, and Drew Liliker winning second.
