GRAY NAMED NEW SOUTH FULTON CITY MANAGER

November 15, 2021

Following a four to one vote by members of the South Fulton City Commission, meeting in special called session this afternoon, Joyce Gray, who has been serving as the city's Interim City Manager, has been named South Fulton's City Manager.

Gray replaces former City Manager Johnny Bacon.

Both Gray and South Fulton resident Terry Hollenback were interviewed today by Mayor David Lamb, Commissioners Beatrice Wilcox, Bill Williams, Tommy Pruett and Cody Caksackkar, after last week's recommendations during special called session.

Lamb, Wilcox, Williams and Caksackkar voted in favor of hiring Gray, with Pruett voting no.

A third candidate scheduled for interview, Eddie Crittendon, requested his name be withdrawn from consideration earlier today.
