The Federal government has the requirement that every six months Obion County School System must seek stakeholder input on the system's spending plan for ESSER funds.

The proposed spending plan has been placed on the Obion County Schools website, www.obioncountyschools.com.

According to Kimberly Jackson, Federal and State Grants Administrator for the Obion County School System, the public's input is needed to help the system reach stakeholders for their questions, concerns, and comments on spending for the district.

" These are not General Fund monies for the school. These are funds obtained through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund. We want to make sure that we allow the public to comment and give us guidance on future allocation of funds," Jackson said.
