"UNITED BY BBQ" HEADING TO FULTON, LOCAL AREAS TO FEED 3000 IN TORNADO IMPACTED COMMUNITIES

United By BBQ, Inc. a Louisiana non-profit disaster relief organization today announced plans to travel to Fulton and provide meals to the tornado impacted communities of Mayfield and Cayce, as well as Dresden and Samburg (Reelfoot Lake), Tenn., the weekend of Jan 28-29-30.

“We know all-to-well how exhausting the recovery process from a disaster can be and we wanted to bring some Hope and Love through BBQ and Louisiana favorite meals to those working on the front lines to rebuild from the tornados. We want to take care of all ya’ll taking care of everyone else” Jeff Petkevicius – Executive Director United by BBQ, Inc. said.

The team will be set up in Fulton at the Willingham Community Center (First United Methodist Church) 200 Carr St., Fulton.
From there, they will be cooking meals to serve approximately 3,000 people over the weekend.

The plan is to cook and distribute to the various communities and bring some comfort during this exhausting stretch of recovery.

The team from Louisiana includes some fun loving National celebrities that would love to meet the locals, including History TV's Swamp People stars, Bruce Mitchell and Ronnie Adams; Facebook and YouTube influencer, Southern Boyz Outdoors, Kinion Bankston; and two time-Louisiana Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, Chase Tyler.

The menu will include Cowboy beans and sausage dogs, Friday afternoon and also a Louisiana crawfish boil with all the fixings on Friday evening.

Saturday will be Jambalaya, pulled pork, white beans, bread and a desert.

Sunday will be pastalaya, pulled pork, bread and green beans with a desert.

Fulton City Commissioner Darcy Linn will help coordinate distribution of the meals.
