Through the efforts of a partnership between Tennessee Valley Authority, and Fulton Electric System, in addressing hardships created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Community Care Fund program has been extended, and the Fulton County Health Department in Fulton was recently selected to receive a donation from the program in the amount of $2,000. TVA matched Fulton Electric System’s $1,000 donation.

The program continues to help amplify vital work being done by non-profit organizations to support families and businesses impacted by the ongoing pandemic.

The fund is intended to “help sustain and improve the quality of life in the Valley and support economic recovery.”
“FES is proud to give back to our community and we proudly donated to the Food Bank last year and this year we wanted to help our local health department, which is very vital to our community. TVA was in agreement and they gladly matched our donation of $1,000,” Jeff Wade, Business Office Manager at FES said.
