GIBSON ELECTRIC MEMBERSHIP OUTAGES REPORTED, RESTORATION UNDERWAY

As of 8:06 p.m. tonight, Thurs., Feb. 17, service has been restored by Gibson Electric to all members affected by today's storms.

This afternoon's storms have caused outages for 2,023 Gibson Electric Membership Corporation members’ homes and businesses in Carlisle and Hickman counties in Kentucky and in Dyer and Gibson counties in Tennessee. Crews have been dispatched and will restore service as quickly as they safely can. We will provide updates as we make progress.

Gibson EMC’s crews have restored power to 927 members. Another 1,544 are still without power in Carlisle and Hickman counties in Ky., and in Crockett and Madison counties in Tenn. We will restore service to everyone as soon as we safely can.
