AREA OBITUARIES -- DON ELKINS

Mr. Don Elkins, age 70, of South Fulton, Tenn., passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at the West Tennessee Volunteer Martin Hospital in Martin, Tenn.

He was born on November 3, 1951 in Wayne County, Michigan to the late Carl Elkins and Bettie Hancock Robey.

Don was a member of the Walnut Grove Church and retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, where he worked for 30 years as a tire builder. He lived all of his life in this area. Don was also a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Elkins, whom he married April 25, 1970, a daughter Melissa Carol Elkins of Knoxville, Tenn.., two sisters: Sue Carol (Bruce) Ledford of Florence, Ala. and Donna Robey of South Fulton, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022 in Fulton's Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 Noon Thursday until the hour of service.
