BLACK HISTORY MONTH FOCUS OF CARR ELEMENTARY FAMILY READING NIGHT
March 07, 2022
Carr Elementary’s February family reading night honored Black History Month. Each homeroom had a Black History Month-themed display or presentation, some in video form. Students who took Accelerated Reader tests took home blankets, and all students received free Scholastic books. Pictured above are some who were in attendance for the event, front row, left to right, Kamarion Gorman, Tammy Crumble, Jana Large, Jaidyn Large; back row, JaKerion Snipes, Aveion Wilson, Kaneisha Gorman, Sherri Langford.
