AREA OBITUARIES -- BRENDA KEMP

Mrs. Brenda Kemp, age 76, of Hickman, Ky. passed away Mon., March 14, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1945 in Hickman, to the late Joe H. Readenour and Annie Elizabeth Markle

Readenour.

Brenda was a member of the former Middle Road Holiness Pentecostal Church and retired from Tyson Foods as a USDA Inspector Assistant. She also worked for the former Henry I. Siegel in South Fulton, Tenn. She was an avid gardenerand loved to go fishing.

She is survived by a daughter Lisa (Toppie) Sims of Hickman, a son, Charles Steven Kemp of Hickman, three grandchildren, Susan Alexander of Arkansas, Sheree Moore of South Fulton, Tenn. and Lisa Marie Kemp of Union City, Tenn., eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Kemp, a sister Maggie Elizabeth Readenour and two brothers, Joe Wesley Readenour and Sam Readenour.

Pallbearers will be Donald Readenour, Joey Readenour, Cody Adams, Randy Kemp, Lynn Bryson and Charles Kemp.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in Fulton's Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service
