The City of Fulton, in an effort to aid in bulk trash disposal will make available the bulk waste disposal site at the Public Works Office for any resident of the City of Fulton, at no cost during extended hours for the city’s Spring Clean-Up, Fix-Up Week, April 4-9.

Hours at the Public Works Department site will be Mon.-Fri., April 4-8, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sat., April 9, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

There will be no fee charged for collection, however, the following rules will be observed:

1. Required check-in with staff on site before being allowed in the gate.

2. Valid ID must be presented, showing proof of residence in the City of Fulton.

3. All items must be placed in the roll off dumpsters provided. The site is camera monitored and disposing items on the ground will be prohibited with strict enforcement and failure to do so could result in the person disposing of items on the ground, subject to a misdemeanor punishable with a $250- $500 fine.

4. Prohibited items not allowed for disposal include: Paints, Stains, Varnishes, used motor oil, filters, automotive fluids, explosives, fireworks, syringes, lancets, pool chemicals, propane cylinders, batteries of any type, tires of any type, appliances that have not been certified freon free, and industrial chemicals.

5. Disposal of yard waste and brush disposal is intended to be used by City residents only for incidental yard waste, normal to living in a residence. This disposal is not intended to be used to dispose of large-scale tree removal or trimming by the homeowner or a person performing the removal that is receiving payment. Brush and limbs should be cut to four feet in length and be less than six inches in diameter.

6. Violation of any of these rules shall be considered a misdemeanor punishable with a $250-$500 fine.
