For the second time, following a joint effort during the Fall Halloween season, the South Fulton Parks and Recreation Board and the Fulton Parks Board teamed up to stage the Twin Cities Community Easter Egg Hunt April 9, on the front lawn of the South Fulton Municipal Complex. Bouncy houses, the Shriners' Train, the Air-Evac helicopter, fire trucks and ambulance service vehicles were on site as well as face painting, free hot dogs, chips and drinks, story time, and visits with the Easter Bunny, were all part of the event staged from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with hunts coordinated for three age categories. Participants were entered into a drawing for prizes in each division, as well as a separate drawing available for older youth in attendance. The Twin Cities Railroad Museum was also open for tours.
