AREA OBITUARIES -- BILLY JOE JONES

Mr. Billy Joe Jones, 78, of Hickman, Ky., passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

He was born on December 26, 1943 in Dorena, M., to the late Felbert and Katie (Busby) Jones.

Billy Joe worked most of his life as a millwright. He was also a member of the East Baptist Church in Hickman, Ky.

Billy Joe is survived by his wife, Nettie Sue Jones of Hickman, Ky; two daughters, Vickie (Jackie) Curlin of Hickman, Ky., and Reena (Daniel) Williams of Hickman, Ky.; one sister, Carol (Jimmy) Henderson of Cayce, Ky.; two grandchildren, Tyler (Britnee) Williams of Union City, Tenn., and Zack Curlin of Union City, Tenn.; and three great-grandchildren, Rhyse and Lainee Williams of Union City, Tenn., and Collier Curlin of Union City, Tenn.

In addition to his parents, Billy Joe is preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

A memorial service for Mr. Billy Joe Jones will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Strong Funeral Home in Hickman, with Bro. Billy Uzzle, Bro. Dwyane Uzzle, and Bro. Robert Goodman officiating.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
