SFHS BAND WINS AWARDS AT MUSIC FEST

SOUTH FULTON HIGH SCHOOL BAND PLACES AT SMOKY MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL -- South Fulton High School's Band recently earned a 2nd place finish and accomplished their best performance of the year at the Smoky Mountain Music Festival. Eleven students were awarded Certificates of Excellence by the judges, including Carl Lattus, Bryanna Johnson, Chrissy Taylor, a Class of 2022 graduating senior, Zeke Colston, Alejandro Lopez, Skylie Briggs, Kameryn Clark, Hannah Wilson, Mayce Glasgow, Alivia Williams, and Jalivia Coble.

The students also participated in a post-performance clinic by all three judges, and represented both South Fulton and Obion County Schools well, both on and off the stage in Gatlinburg. (Photos submitted.)
