FULTON-SOUTH FULTON ROTARY CLUB CLAIMS AWARDS
ROTARY CLUB AWARDED -- The Fulton-South Fulton Rotary Club was well represented during the recent District Rotary Conference, with Club President Dr. DeAnna Miller, President-Elect Dave Puckett, Club Treasurer Dan Voegeli, and Rotary Club member Sam Miller, who was instrumental in one of the awards presented. The Fulton-South Fulton Rotary Club won recognition for Best Fundraiser, Division 2, District Rotary Conference, for their Smoke Ham fundraiser, an event which is made possible through the dedication and work of Sam Miller, who has mastered the task of of preparing the smoked hams which are sold. The Rotary Club was also recognized as the winner of the Best Community Representation for the conference Silent Auction, with Dr. Miller's gift basket created using the Twin Cities' claim to fame, the Banana Festival. Following the conference, during the Rotary Club's weekly meeting, Molly Gannon, Past Club President, was presented a STAR Club award, earned by Rotary Clubs when the club's annual contribution level reaches an average of $125 per member.
