QUITE THE CATCH, FISHING RODEO FUN

Hickman Recreation Tourism Convention Commission (HRTCC) held their annual Fishing Rodeo on June 4, at Hamby Pond with area youth participating. Prizes were awarded to the Biggest Fish and for the Total Weight. Door prizes were donated by Harvest Kitchen, The Citizens Bank, Emily Owens with Kentucky Farm Bureau, Kentucky Bayou Outdoors, Grizzly Jig, Republic Services, Cypress Creek Outdoors, Amberg Farms, and Kentucky Fish and Wildlife. HRTCC appreciates the Fulton County Detention Center Maintenance Crew, Fulton County Road Department, and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office for their work on cleaning up around the pond. Winners include Girls 0 – 5 years, Anna Wilson, biggest fish, and Harbor Vowell, total weight; 6 – 10 years, Haegan Eaves, biggest fish, and Abigail Elks, total weight; and 11 – 15 years, Bentleigh Burkeen, biggest fish, and Harlee Bowling, total weight. Winners for the boys 0 – 5 years include Beau Sanger, biggest fish, and Bryson Somerfield, total weight; 6 – 10 years, Abel Burkeen, biggest fish, and Blayton Crafton, total weight; and 11 – 15 years, Cohen Vowell, biggest fish, and Maddox Amberg, total weight.
