GIBSON ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS ASKED TO REDUCE USAGE

Tennessee Valley Authority, TVA, has requested that Gibson Electric Membership Corporation ask members to voluntarily reduce electricity use between 2 PM and 6 PM today.

According to Rita Alexander, VP of Human Resources and Member Services for Gibson Electric, members are requested to cut off any unnecessary lights and delay any other use of electricity (like washing/drying clothes or washing dishes).

"We will appreciate our members’ help with this conservation request," Alexander said.
