ELECTRICITY USAGE REDUCTION REQUESTED BY FULTON ELECTRIC SYSTEM
According to Fulton Electric System Business Office Manager Jeff Wade, Tennessee Valley Authority has requested FES ask customers to voluntarily reduce the use of electricity between the hours of 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. each day, as a result of extreme weather conditions.
Suggestions for customers include more use of fans to circulate air while increasing thermostat settings by one degree, as well as postponing use of any non-essential devices until after dusk.
For more information, contact Fulton Electric System at 270-472-1362.
