Fulton Electric continues to request voluntary reduction of electricity use

According to Fulton Electric System Business Office Manager Jeff Wade, Tennessee Valley Authority has requested FES ask customers to continue to voluntarily reduce the use of electricity between the hours of 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. each day, as a result of extreme weather conditions.

Suggestions for customers include more use of fans to circulate air while increasing thermostat settings by one degree, as well as postponing use of any non-essential devices until after dusk.
