Shirley Turnbow

Mrs. Shirley Turnbow, 73, of Hickman, Ky., went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 15, 2022.

She was born on February 17, 1949 to the late John Early Morgan and Lena (Welch) Morgan in Drew, Miss. Shirley was a proud Mother and Grandmother. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Rhonda Wallen and Yvonne Nisley, both of Hickman, Ky.; two brothers, John Morgan of Hickman, Ky. and Roy Morgan of Blairsville, Ga.; one sister, Lisa Morgan of Hickman, K.; and three grandsons, Jacob Oliphant of Hickman, Ky., and Dillon Nisley and Colin Nisley, both of Riverview, Fla.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Clentis Turnbow; brother, Billy Morgan; and sisters, Nancy Newcomb and Martha Maynard.

Funeral services for will be held June 20, at Strong Funeral Home at 1 p.m., with Bro. Randy McClure officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors June 20, at Strong Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Jacob Oliphant, Dillion Nisley, Colin Nisley, Kelly Hilts, Chad Turnbow, and Jeff Kilpatrick will serve as pallbearers.
