Hickman’s People of Diversity sponsored the Emancipation activities held Aug. 4 - 8 in Hickman, including the Aug. 4 Emancipation Worship service held at Lake Chapel MBC; a Block Party held Aug. 5 on the parking lot of E.W. James & Sons; and the Grand Parade on Aug. 8, followed with food, live music and vendors; and concluding with a school supply giveaway/movie night on Aug. 8.
