MISS BANANA FESTIVAL PAGEANT SATURDAY

After two years’ absence, the Miss Banana Festival pageants return to this year’s festival, set for Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022 at Fulton Independent High School, 700 Stephen Beale Drive in Fulton. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Categories include Baby Miss for ages birth to 12 months, at 9 a.m.; Mini Miss, for ages 13-23 months, at 9:30 a.m.; Tiny Miss, ages 2-3 years, at 10 a.m.; Little Miss, ages 4-6, 10:30 a.m.; Junior Miss, ages 7-9; 11 a.m.; Pre-Teen Miss, ages 10-12, 12 p.m.; Teen Miss, ages 13-15, 12:45 p.m.; and Miss Banana Festival, ages 16-21 at 1:30 p.m.

There will be a brief intermission after the Junior Miss Division. On stage times may run behind due to large contestant numbers. Start times only guarantees the group will not start before the on stage time listed.

Queens will be required to participate in the Banana Festival parade on Saturday, Sept. 17, which begins at 4 p.m., and will participate in serving the one-ton Banana Pudding following the parade.

Entry fee is $25 for beauty, flair for fashion, $5, admission at the door is $5 and children ages 3 and under are admitted free.
