FULTON COUNTY TRANSIT AUTHORITY OFFERS FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO DOWNTOWN FULTON, SOUTH FULTON, FOR TONIGHT'S BANANA FESTIVAL CONCERTS
Fulton Tourism Commission's 60th Banana Festival celebration continues with a big day today, ending with free concerts at South Fulton's Unity Park. Fulton County Transit Authority will offer free shuttle service to the downtown area beginning at 5:30 p.m., from the South Fulton Municipal Complex, on Broadway and the First Community Bank of the Heartland, also on Broadway in South Fulton. The shuttle service is free, with free parking available at those sites. Shuttle service will also be provided back to those two locations after the concerts tonight. Rotary Car Show is underway, the Kiwanis Club Corn Hole tournament is ready, the Banana eating contest is at 10 a.m., Banana Brawl wrestling is at 11 and the doggy pageant is at 2...carnival rides, vendors galore...and the Lions Club Grande Parade starts at 4 p.m., coming down Broadway, with FREE one-ton banana pudding served following the parade. Concerts featuring the Fulton's Got Talent winner, Jordan Skoda and the Damwrights and Chase Matthew start at 6, 7 and 8:30, respectively.
