OBION COUNTY SCHOOLS' 'SOFT LOCKDOWN' EXPLAINED, NOW LIFTED

According to an official statement released from the Central Office of the Obion County School System, as a precautionary measure to a reported threat in a neighboring county, Obion County's schools were placed in a soft lockdown this morning. Law enforcement has determined that the threat in the neighboring county no longer exists. Obion County Schools has returned to normal operation.
